I am a PhD student in the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Oxford. I work on mobile health projects, focussing on machine learning and digital signal processing in the biomedical signal processing and instrumentation group. A TEDx talk on my work can be found here.
I hold a BEng (Hons) degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Cape Town and a MSc. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Oxford.
I am in St. Edmund Hall, where I was Graduate President in 2011, and where I have been the Junior Dean since 2012.
In my spare time I run, play hockey and play the bagpipes.
